A new sin

The streets of Ashwood were once a haven of devout souls, where the faithful walked in the footsteps of the lord. But now, an eerie feeling seeped into the pores of the town. It was as if the very fabric of reality was unraveling.

The first sign of decay was a mysterious ritual taking place under the light of the full moon. A group of hooded figures gathered at the Old Oak, performing an ancient incantation that seemed to awaken a presence from the depths of the underworld.

Their names were shrouded in mystery, but their crimes were not. Corpses began to appear, bound with strange symbols that seemed to shift and writhe like living things. The people of Ashwood whispered of dark gods and unholy rituals.

One such individual, Elara, was rumored to have stumbled upon a forbidden text. The words spoke of a deity known as Zha'thik, a being from beyond the stars, who fed on the sin of humanity. Elara's discovery was her undoing, and she found herself consumed by an otherworldly hunger.

As the nights wore on, the people of Ashwood felt their own darkness rising. The sin of the past began to consume them, and the lines between reality and madness began to blur. Elara's fate was a harbinger of the horrors that were to come...

With every passing night, more lives fell prey to the eternal hunger of Zha'thik. The town was plunged into an abyss of terror, with no escape from the all-consuming darkness...
